I think I have always liked the days that do not look important at first.
The ones with no big plans, no special occasion, no reason to remember them.
A coffee somewhere.
A train ride.
Walking through a city without really knowing where I am going.
Dinner with people I love.
A sunset I almost missed.
A photo taken for no particular reason.
Most days are made of things like that.
Small moments that seem ordinary while they are happening.
And maybe that is why I like keeping them.
Not because every day needs to be turned into a memory, but because sometimes the most ordinary things are the ones that become meaningful later.
You look back at a photo and suddenly remember what the weather was like.
What you were thinking about.
Who you were talking to.
What song you had on repeat.
What your life looked like at that exact moment.
Things you would never have thought were worth remembering.
I think we spend so much time waiting for the big moments.
The trip.
The graduation.
The new job.
The celebration.
The thing we have been looking forward to for months.
And of course, those moments matter.
But life does not only happen there. It happens on the quiet Tuesdays too.
In the food you eat all the time.
In the streets you walk without looking around anymore.
In the conversations you almost forget.
In the days that felt completely normal until they were no longer part of your life.
Maybe that is why I like taking photos of things that are almost ordinary.
They remind me that a life does not have to look extraordinary to be worth remembering.
Sometimes a blurry photo, a random table, or an empty street can hold more feeling than the perfect picture ever could.
So this is my little archive of those days.
Nothing spectacular.
Just pieces of a life that was happening quietly.
And maybe that is what makes them worth keeping.
