let tomorrow arrive

One day, you'll realize how much time you spent worrying about things that never happened.

One day, you'll realize how much time you spent worrying about things that never happened. You'll count the sleepless nights spent rehearsing conversations that never occurred, disasters that never arrived, versions of the worst-case scenario that lived rent-free in your mind while your actual life quietly continued outside your window, mostly fine, mostly manageable. You'll remember that every single hard thing that did happen, you survived—not gracefully, not without scars, but you're still here, which means you were always more capable than the anxious version of you gave yourself credit for. You'll understand that the problems you haven't met yet don't deserve the energy you keep lending them today, and you'll finally let tomorrow stay unfigured-out until it actually arrives.
